Our Town in Miniatures
The Cat’s Meow Village in Ohio is known for the miniature wooden replicas that they design for  personal and business use. Members of the Burlington Historical Society have made several historical miniatures for sale.  The miniatures you see below can be purchased at our meetings and are on display at the town hall.
All proceeds from the sales are for our Burlington High School scholarship fundraiser.
Notice the little black cat trademark on each replica.
Click on any miniature to enlarge image and learn more about the history .

The Union School was built in 1898 to consolidate all the one-room schoolhouse closings due to a growing population and the need for a large school for all students.  The Union School closed in 1972 as the modern school buildings were built.  It has been modernized and is now the Burlington Police Department.
The Union School is scheduled for destruction in 2025 due to the interior condition. A new Police Station will be on the site.
